Can I Cut The String Hanging Near The Stitches After Cyst Removal?

I had a cyst removed two weeks ago on my labia. The doctor said I had dissolvable stitches on the inside and should never see or feel where the cyst was. I have a inch long string hanging and when it gets pulled the pain could send me through the roof. Is it safe just to cut the string?

Hi,

Here according to your history, your doctor used absorbing sutures. The suture threads, which are in the skin absorbed automatically, the free tags appear as it is. Don't worry about this. just pull it aside, it will come easily without any pain. Applying Hydroheal Am gel on that area will give good relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
