Can I Fly After Open Heart Surgery ?

I have also had 5 stents placed will this affect high altitudes ?

Talk about preaching - that pilot was certainly doing a pretty good job ! No-one has mentioned dehydration. It depends on the type of flying. Short flights less likely to need to be concerned with dehydration, blood thickening etc. Also depends on whether you are on any blood thinning medications etc. A chat with your preacher, sorry pilot, sorry doctor is probably in order.
