Hello dear
Understand your concern
You can not get pregnant after having intercourse during menstruation.
In most of women with 28-30 days menstrual cycles, ovulation occur during the 14th-16th days of cycle (mid cycle day)
But pregnancy is possible in women having short cycle (20-22 days), as sperm can live for 5-6 days in the female genital tract.
So you had sex in the safe period of cycle and you can not become pregnant.
And heavy bleeding does not suggests pregnancy.
It may be due to the mechanical trauma or vaginal infections.
Avoid sex during the period as it cause high chance of infections.
If bleeding will not stop then consult the gynecologist to rule out vaginal infection, cervicitis and cervical dysplasia.
Hope this may help you
