Welcome to HCM, DUPHASTAN as a oral contraceptive will not give 100% protection against pregnancy. There may be chance of ectopic pregnancy.
About the time ,any fixed time in a day has same effect.Do not miss a sible days, if missed take double dose on next day.
It is advised to use combined oral pills like YASMIN than progesteron only pills. It has more side effects compared to combined pills.
Consult a gynic and start combine oral pills.
Before that get all HORMONES profile, thyroid profile, hb % to know the cause of irregular periods, If possible gt an ultrasound to rule out fibroids and endometrial pathology.
Hope this will help you, Thank you.
