Can I Get Pregnant With The Following Torch Test Results?

Dear docter ,Planning pregnancy,but 2 miscarries in past one year. done Torch test results all IgG readings are positive whereas IgM are negative. Rubella - 24.60 Cytomegalovirus - 103.00 Herpes simplex virus-1+2 -18.50 the above readings are all IgG . what does this mean , does it mean that the infection is still there? Does this mean that pregnancy cant be planned now ? is there a treatment for this ?

Hi,
I understand your concern.
There are two types of antibodies against an infection. IgM antibody indicates active infection in body - which can cause abortion.
IgG antibodies indicate resistance acquired against the disease.. with no risk of getting the disease again & abortion thereafter.
I have gone through your TORCH test results You have it IgG+ve. - This means your blood has antibodies to fight against the diseases & there is no danger for you to contact the diseases in future.It's a good news, you can plan for pregnancy without fear of abortion to TORCH diseases.
* Few more thing to understand are -
- The TORCH diseases give immunity after infection. Naturally abortion due to diseases can be only once. Two abortions can not be due to the diseases.
there are many more factors that may cause abortion.
- It's better to get complete physical check up/ investigations if needful, before you plan for pregnancy. Get the problems ( if found any) solved before conception.
-After conception also it's important to diagnose pregnancy earliest & consult gynecologist for hormone supplements if needful
* This will give you a full proof palnnng of pregnancy.
