Can I Have A Tummy Tuck While Suffering From Diabetes?

My sugars have been well controlled for the last six months. I have been seriously considering a tummy tuck. I have type II Diabetes. My stomach is unsightly and I would like to remedy it. I have lost weight but my skin is still loose. What do you recommend ?

dear sir I can understand your concern.if your sugars are good then in my opinion it's not a problem to undergo procedure like tummy tuck .make sure that you Hba1c is under control.go for abdominal muscle strengthening exercise which will give better results in tummy tuck...regards Dr Vamsi krishna Diabetologist
