Can I Keep My Blood Cord For My Baby?

I was informed that my maternal blood unit is reactive to cytomegalovirus IGM. Is it possible for me to keep the bloodcord for my baby? What would be the implication of keeping the bloodcord Should i request to do the test on the bloodcord?
Will my baby get the virus also?
Kindly advise. Thank you.

Hi...you are having IgG antibody that indicates past infection of cytomegalo virus so don't worry about your baby...no need to check blood of your baby's cord..
