Can I Put Olive Oil Into The Child's Ear To Get Out Grommets In The Ear Canal?

My 4 year old daughter had grommets put in last Oct. I can see in her ears (and a locum Dr checked 2 weeks ago) that they are both out of her ear drum now and both sitting in her ear canal in wax. Her hearing has dropped, which I guess is because of these obstructions in her ear canals. Is there anything we can do at home to get them out? Would olive oil be a good idea? Thanks.

Certainly not a good idea.sometimes the perforation made in the drum takes longer to close in which case(which you cannot see now) the oil will get into the middle ear.You have to get the ear cleaned by an ENTdoctor itself.
