Can I Switch From Norco To Tramadol For Neuropathy Treatment?
I have taken Norco for over ten years for back pain neuropathy and bad knees. My knees were replaced (the last one was one year ago). My diabetes was resolved with bypass 2 years ago leaving me with neuropathy I want to know if I can change over to tramadol instead. Would it be effective and would their be side effects that might impair my daily activities. Age 66 with essential tremors taking 8 tablets a day at 10/325 of Norco
Tramadol does carry some side effects, especially on blood pressure, so what is most important now is to first wean off norco with the help of your doctor. And only then initiate tramadol, but this is an experiment, and like all experiments there are chances of it failing, so be prepared, but other than that, no reason why you shouldn't try it out.
Best wishes.
