Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I m looking for a syringe for injection Arachitol, but the pharmacies close to my house are not aware what type of Syringe has to be used for this injection. Also the Doctor whom i visited to take this injection suggested that this can be taken orally as well - Can you please advice if I can take this injection orally?
What you need to do is you can take Arachitol injection intramuscular by consulting a trained medical professional to administer it or if taken orally you can take vitamin D3 arachitol (60,000 I.U) liquid bottle that comes in 5 ml solution. This is medication for vitamin D deficiency to help calcium absorption. it works best if taken after meals and you can take a calcium rich diet like sea foods, milk and milk products.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Riyanka Chail, General & Family Physician
