Can I Take Antifungal Diflucan While Suffering From Persistent Anal Itching?
I am experiencing persistant anal itching for the last 2 wks. I was perscribed a 5 day antifugal Diflucan. It seemed to take the itch from the external female gonads. But the anal area seems unaffected. What can it be? I don't believe it is pin worms as I can't see any.

As you are on Diflucan for five days and most of your symptoms have comedown.
The itching in the anus may be due to many reasons starting from food to Parasitic infections.
It can be prevented and cured by keeping that area clean and dry. Can apply cream having antifungal agents
You can apply creams having lignocaine,calamine and Phenylephrine.
