hi dr my name is manasa iam 24 years and i marreid before 6 months .i have irregular periods pcos and i consult dr she gave tablet to come periods and she checked after peroids my egg is how much it is so small 6mm she gave me tablet meparate it is peraoid tablets i dont know and also i am using follic acid tab and metafornin also and please give me any suggestion i have to concieve

Hello madam, from the history you have given, well meprate is a hormonal pill which causes withdrawal bleeding.Most of the women with pcos are prescribed metformin.Studies have shown that metformin works better when given along with ovulation inducing agents in pcos patients, so don't worry. If also helps in decreasing weight in obese women with pcos. Folic acid is ideally adviced for all women preconceptionally to prevent neural tube defects.hope i was helpful to you.
