Can I Take Vitamin B3 Per Day As Arthritis Patient?

Hi, Would you advise taking vitamin B3. I started about 3 months ago (500mg) perday . It has helped with my arthritis, but are there any concerns with this dosage. I am a 67 year old female. I frequently feel exhausted doing ordinary hosework but am able to take my two dogs for good long walks each day.
