My name is diana and I would like to know I had major lung surgery last year for a cancerous tumor on my lung and I weighed at 80 kg after the operation a year on my weight has gone up like crazy to a staggering 92kgs. I want to start a family is it okay to fall pregnant at this weight or not
You can but remember at such weight getting pregnant is difficult. Moreover, there is higher risk of pregnancy complications like miscarriage, high blood pressure and diabetes and thrombosis in pregnancy. Losing some amount of weight can help you to improve the chance of getting pregnant. It will also reduce the risk of pregnancy complications. Please see a gynecologist before planning for pregnancy because you need to start folic acid tablets, vitamin D and do some tests, considering your risk factors.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
