Can I Undergo Endoscopic Sinus Treatment For Curing Sinus And Nose Block Problem ?
DEAR DR, IAM RAVI,AGE 53,IAM AFFECTED BY SINUS AND NOSE BLOCK ,IAM TAKING TREATMENT FOR ALLERGY AND RESPIRATORY FOR MORE THAN ONE YEAR BUT ITS NOT CURABLE,CAN I DO ENDOSCOPIC SINUS TREATMENT,KINDLY ADVICE ME RAVI

Before deciding upon endoscopic treatment,you must get a CT scan done to see the condition of all sinuses and whether the problem can be rectified surgically or not.
If your symptoms are due to allergy only and there is no blockage inside,then endoscopic treatment will not be effective.
You must consult your ENT specialist for final opinion.

Your information is incomplete to give an opinion. But still I will try my best.
Sinusitis may be allergic rhinosinusitis presents with nose block , sneezing and watery nasal discharge.
Other type bacterial sinusitis presents with nose block, purulent or mucopurulent nasal discharge with or without postnasal drip.
For a proper diagnosis you need to undergo a thorough ENT checkup with X- PNS, Diagnostic nasal endoscopy with or without CT scan PNS to know exact level of obstruction and envolvement of different sinuses.
If it is purely allergic no need of surgical treatment only medication will help you.
If infective and or obstructive pathology is there than surgical intervention in terms of FESS or Endoscopic surgery might help.
