Can I Use Moxikind Tablets For Teeth Infection?

i have teeth infection and there is a swalling on the upper Jaw,for which doctor suggest antibiotic tab moxikind cv 625 three tab per day for 5 days . please suggest it is correct anbiotic for this treat ment and i have aiready taking MAHASEF L Tab antibiotic for two days @ 2 tablet per dayas suggested by another docter,I am not able to decide whether I stop MAHASEF by taking MOXIKIND CV 625 or continue for MAHASEF for another 3 Days?

Mahasef L is not usually the first kind of medicine prescribed for dental infection.
Moxikind Cv 625 is more commonly used and effective for dental infection.

I would advice you to call your dentist office and take his advice and then start with moxikind cv 625 ( if your dentist says ok as any antibiotics are not usually stopped mid dose unless most required).

Hi,
Thanks for posting the query,

I would suggest you to take medicines prescribed by the Dentist to you if you are taking moxikind then stick to it, also take tab ketorol DT and ibugesic plus along with it, antibiotics and analgesics will give a temporaray relief i would suggest you to go for a complete root canal treatment of the tooth.
