I am 65 years old, have had a hysterectomy 25 yrs ago, have my ovaries. 3 months ago I started getting hot flashes, hot feet at night and occasional insomnia. I stopped estradiol patch 0.1mg 6 months ago. I would like to try an OTC estrogen product. Any suggestions?
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You have hot flushes, hot feet and insomnia. It is probably due to post menopausal symptoms. It is due estrogen deficiency. You are not taking estradiol patch so you need some hormone replacement therapy. But you should not take OTC estrogen product. You should consult your gynaecologist and start estrogen according to advise. Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
