Can I Use Bleaching Soap To Deal With Marks Of Chicken Pox?
Hi im michelle, 24yo, and i have fair complexion. I had chickenpox last dec 4 2013. It took me more than 2wks to totally get rid of the scabs from day 1. And its already more than 2wks now since i am dealing with my scars specially on my face. I got 5 shallow holes on my face, as well as redness. I also have white spots on my arms. I Ve been applying contractubex on the holes. Is it ok? And scar cream, whitening creams. Can i also use bleaching soap?
As you have chicken pox scars which sometimes gets pitted known as "Atrophic scars". Treatment options are many and will depend upon the severity of scar and indentations . I would suggest you to apply a moisturizer with vitamin E and Aloe Vera extract directly onto the scars scar. Avoid bleaching soap, rather apply turmeric powder mix with honey for 15 minutes daily and then wash it.
If the scars and pits are severe and do not go away with above method then consult dermatologist for proper clinical evaluation. Doctor may recommend cosmetic procedure or laser therapy.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
