Can I Use Dermadew Soap For Children? Have Very Dry Skin
i have two children who are 4 & 10 yrs i,m using dettol soap for them but there skin is getting dry i think it is because of the weather. a dermatologist has asked me to use dermadew baby soap and dermadew cream for both my children. I have not started using yet. So kindly advice me that is it good to use and for how long can i use the soap and the cream.

Do not use dettol (medicated) soaps on a regular basis.Use it for hand washing only.
Apply dermadew lotion after baths and before bedtime.
Apply dermadew soap during baths.
You can use them as long as you want.

Well, dermadew is a good soap and cream for dry skin. Basically, you need a soap or a cream with a moisturiser in it, which will retain the moisture from the skin and avoid it from becoming dry. Such kind of a soap is required mostly in the winter and dry climates. You can switch over to your regular soap during the other seasons. Preferably use an ayurvedic preparation soap normally also. It causes relatively less dryness.

In winter season because of decreased moisture in the weather leads to dryness of skin.
So in winter in dry skin individuals care must be taken to maintain skin moisture by using moisturizing soaps and lotions.
You can use that soap for bathing and apply that cream immediately after bathing to retain the water which is present in skin layers after the bath.
You can apply the moisturizing cream or lotion thrice daily depending on the necessity.
The duration depends on the nature of skin and usually applied till the end of winter season.
