Suggest Treatment For Recurrent Hives On Body

Hi, I am a female 19 year old just moved to los angeles. For the past 4 to 5 months I have been getting hives. Everything seems to trigger my hives. I don't know what cause it and so far anti histamine and anti itch lotion including calamine lotion don't help.I can't use hydrocotizone because I am prone to glaucoma and streroid can increase my eye pressure to an unhealthy level. I tried drinking water and tea but no change. Also showering in cold water. I took a blood test and everything seems to be normal except my vitamin D.then I've been taking vitamin D supplement but still no change. It is annoying and affecting my everything on a daily basis. Do u know what cause it and how to get rid of it? Thanks

Hello,

Do cold compress for relief. Take care of your hygiene. Wear loose fitting cotton clothes. Get clinically examined by a dermatologist, get required blood tests, and skin tests done. You may need to get allergy shots if you have severe hives or hives caused by unavoidable allergens. Do not touch, scratch or pick. Stay away from any potential triggers and allergens.

Avoid wearing tight or restrictive clothing, apply silverex cream or soframycin cream on the affected area as you are unable to use hydrocortisone cream. Avoid extremes of temperature, too cold or too hot. Avoid stress (emotional or physical). Stay away from anxiety. Do not share your clothing or toiletries with anyone. Use a gentle antibacterial soap while bathing and cleaning your skin & during bath. Avoid wearing any jewelry, avoid taking food that triggers the symptoms.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
