Can IVF Be Successful, If Started After Two Months Of Tuberculosis Treatment?

Hello sir, I have done hsg test and found my both tubes are block. After that i have done hesystroscopy and found tb. Dr has given me 2 month medicine for tuberculosis and told me to do that ivf after two month of treatment of tuberculosis. My question is thst it will be successful??

Hi, I think you should go for a laparoscopy first to confirm the tubal blockage. Sometimes, HSG can show false block also. Tuberculosis treatment is generally given for 6 to 9 months. So, I think you should wait for the complete treatment and then go for a laparoscopy to confirm the tubal block. Discuss with your doctor regarding this.
