Can Ibuprofen Be Taken Between Doses Of Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen 5-325?

I took one hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5-325 about two hours. I am allowed two such tablets but thought one would be enough. It is proving not to be. I will take two in my next dose in a couple hours. However. I am wondering if it would be safe to take ibuprofen in the middle here to help me make it to the next dose.

Welcome to HCM. Sorry about your your pain. Yes you are okay to augment with Ibuprofen, it is much better than adding Tylenol which is already in the hydrocodone. Good luck and if the pain does not go away you might need to talk to the doctor who prescribed this, many times you do not need to make an appointment, they can give further instructions over the phone. I hope this helps, good luck
