Can ibuprofen cause a burning in the stomach? I m a 15 year old girl and I just recently started taking pills. When I was younger I just couldn t take them and never took medicine. Since I ve been able to take pills I have taking ibuprofen usually for cramps or the occasional headache- not very often. This week I have taken more than usual. Still small doses of one pill for but daily. As I was having tooth pain. I had some stomach burning feeling a few weeks ago but went away so I didn t think much of it. Well it has returned this week and much more frequently- making me think it may be the ibuprofen??
Hello my friend I am Dr.Arianisa Thanks for your question on HCM
If you have a headache which is unusual for you then you should discuss it with your doctor. You should also talk to your doctor about headaches which are particularly severe or that stop your regular activities. You should not take Ibuprofen without talking to a doctor.Because drinking to much the medication can hurt your stomach.
Remember that headaches are less likely to occur in those who: 1.Manage their stress well. 2.Eat a balanced, regular diet. 3.Take regular exercise. 4.Pay attention to posture and core muscles. 5.Sleep on two pillows or fewer. 6.Drink plenty of water. 7.Have plenty of sleep. So for your burning sensacion on stomach stop drinking Ibuprofen and drink plenty of water, take regular diet.
Hope this information is helpful to you Best regards
