I have developed a pain across the side of my front to across the top. It s not bothersome in the morning but after activity it becomes painful. An ibuprofen seems to help. I have not tripped, scraped, or fallen. A girlfriend suggested tendenitus. I do a lot of exercising and this is making it difficult.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to inflammation (tendonitis). Your can take Ibuprofen 400 to 800 mg two or three times daily after food. Applying gels containing NSAIDs like Diclofenac (Volini) or ketoprofen local also will be helpful. You can also apply ice packs. Apply ice packs on and off for 15 to 20 minute at a time. You can repeat it 3 to 4 times daily.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
