Can Imitrex, Unisom Or Excedrin Migraine Be Tested Positive For Opiates?
I failed a drug test. I tested positive for opiates and I do not use drugs. All I have taken is a 2-year old prescription of Imitrex(mine), Unisom Sleeptime Aide, and Excedrin Migraine. Is there anyway that one of these alone or all of these combined could cause a false-positive or an adverse-reaction?
Thanks for contacting HCM with your medication concerns.
You recently had a urine drug screen which was positive for opiates. Your listed of medications have not been associated with any known false positive screenings. I would recommend that the screeners perform a confirmation test to determine if this is truly a positive test.
