Can Indocin Cause Pyrosis, Mouth And Tongue Pain With Gums Soreness?
Hey Doc, I had an attack of Gout on Sunday. I was put on Indocin (25mg, 3x's/day) I have had terrible hearburn, which I was told would happen but now my mouth hurts. My gums are sore & my tongue feels like I just drank boiling water. Is this from the Indocin?

As per your symptoms there is possibility of indocin drug induced gastritis.
Now you need to stop pain killers if you can.
I will advise to start antacids [proton pump inhibitors like] rabeprazole 20 mg twice a day.
Sucralfate will protect gastric mucosa and will give protective covering.
