Can Isopil Or CNN-100 Intake Cause A Delay In Periods?
Hi. I was having viral on 17 july 2017, my menstrual cycle start from 18 of the month, and I m taking isopil n cnn 100 for acne too. I m feeling that my periods ar going to start but they are not yet started. Today is 22 of the month. Is there any problem? Or its just the effects of medicine my periods are late.
Viral illness or any physical illness, can cause a delay in the period to occur.
Medication can also have an effect on the menstrual cycle but this usually occurs with hormonal medication. Acne meds should not typically affect the period.
Other causes of delayed or irregular period are: (1)emotional illness or stress (2) high levels of the prolactin hormone (3)abnormal levels of the thyroid hormone (4)polycystic ovarian syndrome (5)inadequate diet or excess physical activity
I hope this helps
