Can Kayexalate Be Used For Maintaining Potassium Levels In The Body?
My 45 yr old daughter has stage 4 kidney disease. Needs to keep potassium low. She saw on line that kayexalate is used as a potassium reducer. She is trying a plant based diet and many veggies and fruits are Hugh in potassium so Would this be safe for her to use to keep the potassium low. It would give her more choices in her diet.
