My daughter has stomach issues the past two weeks, she was back up and didn t have a bowel movement for 5 days. she got severely dehydrated and fainted. She fell to floor but didn t lose total consciousness but her body started to convulse shaking allover cramping hands . After all that 911 was called. she was a lil confused but stayed conscious. The ER doctor did CT scan..came back normal, they called it a seizure, put her on Keppra 1000mg a day. Now she had an underlying infection...severe constipation..she had brain scans..normal..saw neurologists, said not sure get MRI. He then uppped the Keppra to 2000mgs a day. Ever since the increase she is so ill. Nausia, dark eyes, vomit, tired, body ache, burping, I think Keppra is to high a dose and making here ill. AND if it was not a seizure...and this huge dosing of Keppra is way too much, is it causing all these symptoms because she never was like this before she was prescribed Keppra. She takes 20 mgs of Pepcid twice a day, probiotics, laxitives, stool softeners, Zofran. Can Keppra be causing all this extra misery?
