Can Kojic Acid Be Used As An Alternative To Melacare Cream?

Sir, is the medicine containing glycolic acid, alfa arbutin, kojic acid is the exact alternative to melacare cream? Can i get the same results? I m using melacare for 2 weeks... but after knowing of it s bad side effects i want to stop it. Can i use now glycolic acid, kojic acid, alfa arbutin cream?

These are not alternative to Melacare. Melacare contains hydroquinone 2%, tretinoin 0.025%, and mometasone furoate 0.1% . Every medicine has its own side effect. No medicine is free from side effect. Proper use of melacare does not side effect. It has to apply gently. Rubbing is not needed. Slightest rubbing will cause redness. Apply a very thin layer on your face. Large amount will cause redness. Or you can do one thing – take equal amount of Melacare and Elovera cream on hour hand, mix them and apply gently on your face daily at bed time. Remember, mix at the time of application only. Store both creams separately. This process will dilute Melacare reducing side effects such as redness and dryness. Use Spectraban sensitive sunscreen before exposure to sunlight. Apply gently on your face and neck.
