Can LA Grade A Esophagitis And Erosive Gastritis Be Treated?

I have been diagnosed la grade a esophagus and erosive gastritis along with h pylori .please let me know how to treat this .my gastroenterologist has prescribed some medication which is sompra z for 20 days and after that sempro . I am taking sompra half an hour before breakfast and I have forgotten the dosage for sempro .can you please help?

First of all no need to worry for missed dose. You can take that dose tomorrow. Sompraz is having Omeprazole . It is antacid. It is drug of choice for esophagitis and gastritis. Omeprazole with Levosulpiride combination is more effective. So discuss about this combination with your doctor. Along with drugs, some lifestyle modifications are also beneficial.

1. Avoid heavy meals, instead take frequent small meals. Avoid junk food. Avoid hot and spicy food.
2. Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm.
3. Go for walking after meals. Keep 2-3 pillows under head in bed to prevent reflux.
4. Quit smoking and alcohol if you have these habits.

Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
