Can LSD And MDMA Cause Not To Urinate?

Hello. My (male) friend has taken LSD (last at 17 hours ago) and MDMA (last at 8 1/2 hours ago). He has last urinated approximately 12 hours ago and has been unable to urinate since, even though his bladder feels uncomfortably full. He is reluctant to go to the hospital and is trying to wait it out, do you know a rough guide as to when this might be, please? Also, he says his penis has shrunken noticeably more than it usually does when he has been taking MDMA but this was his first time on acid.Thanks ever so much.

Hi,

Yes, this is pretty common for a variety of reasons.
1) they often dehydrate you. and this would NOT have an uncomfortable bladder
2) they can change bladder tone but this is not common
3) people can have anxiety on them and be bladder shy. this is common.
The penis cannot permanently shrink in a day (or a month) and certainly by 24 hrs, then catheterization is needed. It is temporary.
