Can Lactulose Cause Sleep Refusal In A Child?
my daughter s dr recently suggested we double her dosage of lactulose. could that be causing her refusal to sleep unless myself or my boyfriend are next to her? she used to sleep through the night by herself now she wakes up screaming and needs us nearby.

Lactulose is used in treatment of constipation and hepatic encephalopathy. It has nothing to do with sleep problems.
Lactulose may cause stomach pain or discomfort probably that may be the reason your daughter is waking up at night.
