Can Lamictal, Keppra And Zonegran Be Taken Together For Partial Seizures?
I ve had partial seizures for about 20 yrs in the past been on Dilantin,Keppra. In the last 3 yrs I ve been on Lamictal 400mg daily with partial right side seizures. Currently seeing another dr. in the same practice has lowered my Lamictal dosage-200 mg and added 300 mg of Zonegram daily. Still having auras 3-4 mth she s suggesting to switching back to Lamictal and Keppra or trying Vimpet. She s does Ambulatory EEG for 48hr every 6mths. I m concerned about taking two seizure meds and also Keppra being an older drug. Is it common to take to anti-convulsion drugs?
