Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been taking Lamictal (current dose 300mgs) for several years with no problems, in the last few weeks I have had episodes of what I can only describe as a seizure. is it possible for the drug to cause seizures? I am taking it for Bipolar depression. I am also on Lexapro 10mgs, a hormone supplement Viviol dot and Norco 10.
Lamictal drug itself not having a side effect of seizure. But anybody having epilepsy this drug should be given with precaution. Other wise no problem.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. C.ELANCHEZHIAN, General & Family Physician
