Dear sir

Lisinopril belong to group of ACE inhibitors, which is most commonly used hypertensive medicines in diabetes.

It does not control the blood pressure effectively as the other group of drugs like calcium channel blockers and beta blockers.

The lisinopril has side effects of dizziness and aches with discomfort in the head, it might be due to your high dosage intake of lisinopril, that is 20 mg.

As your doctor advised you can start taking metaprolol along with lisinopril so that you can minimize side effects of the each drugs.

Thanks
