Can Liver Cirrhosis Cause Esophageal Varices Induced Gravelly Voice?
My husband has cirrhosis of the liver as well as liver cancer & is on the liver transplant list. Recently he has developed a gravely voice. Could this be related to the esophegeal varicies he has because of the cirrhosis? Or should he see his dr. to explore this new symptom?
Hi and welcome. This may be sign of some complications such as reccurent nerve irritation or acid regurgitation. But also, it may be sign of malignant disease spreading and he should see ENT doctor for further evaluation. . Wish you good health. Regards
