General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

We do not recommend to add time of medications like Livolin syrup without consulting his doctor. If Livolin syrup is giving positive effect and breathing is eased, there is no need to continue any longer unless prescribed by his doctor.

Every medication does have side effects, especially for children. If we are not cautious then, unpredictable negative side effects might appear. Please discontinue giving this if breathing is eased, and always consult with his caring doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

All the best.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
