Can Loette Tablet Cause Vomiting, Head Swing, Stomach Burning And Weakness?

Hi doc, I am 23 year old married for 4.5 months back.we are planning not to have baby for 3 years.so I have consulted doc and taking daily contraceptive pills Loette 21 tablets.I started Loette this month from 4 th day(21st april) of my period starting day(18th April).I am taking this tablet regularly.2nd day(22nd April midnight) of taking this tablet I got breathing problem.then 5th day(25th April) morning I got vomiting,head swing,headache ,stomach burning and weekness throughout the day.since then everyday morning I am feeling head swings and weakness till afternoon.Could you please tell me if this is becoz of this Loette tabs or something else? Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of vomiting, head swing, stomach burning and weakness.which seems to be due to food poisoning and acute gastroenteritis. It could be due t disturbed metabolism of body.

The symptoms can also occur due to side effects of certain medicine like Loette , so also consult doctor who prescribe this medicine , Ddoctor may alter the dose or prescribe substitute . I would suggest you to take acetaminophen and antiemetic medication. Avoid intake of any outside food. You should take proper rest. You should take plenty of fluids to re-hydrate. Take diet rich in multivitamins and avoid any oily sharp and fast food.

Take warm water with ginger juice . Visit general physician once and get it examined. You should get blood tests done to find out underlying cause of condition and start treatment accordingly. Your symptoms will resolve in 3-5 days.
