Hi. Im 17+ weeks pregnant. My dr gave me duphaston for 1st three months and myfol. This is my 1st pregnancy and im 30. At almost 2 and a half months i had bleeding for a day or two but the baby was fine. She gave me cyclogest. The bleeding occur again after 10 days for just a day and then stopped. Im fine after that till now. Now she prescribed me loprin 75 once a day(she din tell me how long i have to take it) along with pregnovit and osnate 800. I just want to know is loprin safe for me?
You have signs of threatened abortion so you were treated with hormones to support pregnancy. Now, cause work up is too late, empirical treatment for any clotting or prothrombotic condition needs to be prophylactically managed with Loprin which your treating physician is doing.
It's safe during pregnancy. You need to keep close follow up with the gynecologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Wishing you a speedy recovery.
