Can Losartan Be Taken Post Having Open Heart Surgery?
A family member (male age 72) was told never to stop taking diovan or an equivilant after open heart surgery in 2010. He fuctions on 33% of his heart having suffered major damage of the muscle. Has a ring around one of his valves. He was just told that his insurance will only cover Losartin. Can t this be detrimental to his health?
