Can Losartan Be Taken Twice For High Blood Pressure?

can I take another Losartan becuase I can feel y blood pressure is high I do not have any means to take my blood pressure but I know how I feel if it gets high. I took one at 7:00 am this morning and it is now 10:00pm I take a 100 MG would be alright to take another one and I will go in and get it checked in the morning. ?? Could I cut one in half and take it?

Thanks for writing to Health Care magic, I am Dr , Muhammad Ahmad , I have read your question closely, I understand your concern and will be helping you with your health related problem.

It is NOT advised to take heart medication in increased doses by your self , and that too when you haven't checked your blood pressure, if your blood pressure is fine and you take double dose you might go into blackout, pass out, or go into shock. There is not mean for a person to tell by just feeling that his/her blood pressure is high.

I would suggest you to check your blood pressure twice a day for five days and if is above 150/90 despite using medication then contact your doctor ,he will adjust your medication.
