Can Losartan Cause Elevated Serum Creatinine Levels?
Can Losartan increase serum creatinine level? In June 2017 I had a serum creatinine reading of 1.3mg/dl I was switch from procardia 60ml XL to Losartan 50mg. After 6 weeks my creatinine level jump up to 1.8mg/dl and BUN increase in that same time frame from 16 to 26. Should I go back on the procardia XL 60mg.

losartan can gives rise the increased levels of serum creatinine which is predictable.
creatinine levels may come back to normal after sometime ...if levels are remaining high you can stop taking the losartan
