General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It is not safe to take these medications together.

Ativan (lorazepam), Percocet 7.5 / 325 (acetaminophen / oxycodone).

Taking Ativan together with Lortab drug that also causes central nervous system depression can lead to serious side effects including respiratory distress, coma, and even death.

If the patient continues to take Lyrica along with Lamotrigine or Ativan may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, difficulty concentrating, impairment in thinking, judgment, and motor coordination which may result in falls and injuries.

Patient's doctor may be able to prescribe alternatives that do not interact, or you may need a dose adjustment or more frequent monitoring to safely use these medications.

Besides, the patient should avoid activities requiring mental alertness such as driving, swimming, or operating hazardous machines.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali
