Can MS Affect Elderly Women?

66 year old female waiting to have an Mir and get blood results for copper, magnesium, arsenic, HIV?? Dr said possible diagnosis of essential tremor. I have a 45 year old daughter that has had MS for 10 years and just this week my 43 year old daughter was diagnosed with MS. I am obviously devasted for both my girls and want to know about my chances now at 66?

Hello,

MS usually hits between the ages of 20 and 50 years and there is nothing absolute in medicine.

One can have MS at an older age as well since you don't have obvious symptoms of MS you have very fewer chances of getting MS. Still, for confirmation, I suggest you to visit a neurologist.
