Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been having some testicular discomfort recently. I went to the urologist today and after examination, I was told that there was nothing wrong. After having took a week and a half long break from smoking marijuana, and the testicular discomfort definitely getting better, I smoked tonight and my testicles are in much discomfort, more discomfort then pain. Is this just my anxiety and me being anxious or could smoking cause more discomfort/a problem? Thanks
I went through your details. Marijuana is cannabis. It is a psycho active substance and medically used for pain management in smaller doses. Its property as a psycho active drug and mild hallucinogen is the reason you feel the pain is less when you used it. This effect is just for the time being. It never treats the basic cause. Over and above, use of cannabis can cause addiction and in later stages, you may find it difficult to stop using the drug. Please be informed and discontinue using it and be sure. Once your doctor had confirmed you do not have any problem, believe him.
