Can Meftal-P Be Given Regularly For My 24-month-old Baby?

Hi My daughter is 24month s old and she is having high fever(101 to 103°f) for past two days With very little cold& My doctor has adviced to give her meftal p(if fever is there)5ml. Fever comes after 6hrs time gap.but she is active in between . she had fever &cold last month & she was given ibugesic plus (5ml) &maxtra for cold Pls advice is it good to give meftal p regularly as temperature is between 101 to 103f Or is it OK to give ibugesic plus?? Thank you

Hello,

I think the best way to treat fever is to use Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen alternating them every 4-6 hours only if she has fever. If she doesn't have don't give anything but just wait if the temperature starts rising.
