Can Meftal Along With Babygesic Be Administered To An Infant?
Hi, my daughter is 18 months old and having fever around 103 degrees on and off for 3 days now..the doctor has given meftal p (if fever above 101.5)and babylygesic(for 3 days every 6th hourly)and mox syrup...wanted to know if both(babylygesic and meftal p) can be given together, what should be the time interval

I can understand your concern.babygesic contains paracetamol and meftal p also has paracetamol along with mefenemic acid. I would suggest ther is no need of taking babygesic if you have give meftal p already. Its like giving the same medication twice. If the child has low grade fever give babygesic,if the fever is above 102 f give meftal p. Continue the antibiotic along with it. Hope you are satisfied with the response. Thanks for choosing HCM
