Can Melanorm Cream Be Used On Skin For Sun Tan?

I was having quite fair skin tone of my overall body including face, but as I roam around too much and I believe because of tanning my face is not like before now and I can see its tanned..I am willing to get my original tone back, so I was talking to one of my friend and he suggested me to use Melanorm lite by Unimark pharma.I am little cautious to use it on my face, so I am asking here, how good it is and what would be the side effects? What would happen if I will stop using it after 1-2 months etc...Thank you in advance

Hi Dear ,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have hyper pigmented skin which is giving you darker appearance and tone, it occurs due to excessive sensitivity of body to sunlight. Your skin absorbs UV rays of sun and get hyper pigmented. I would suggest you to avoid excessive sun exposure and if ever you have to go cover the areas of skin with damp cloth. Use Tan care which is a medicated cream specially for oily skin rich in SPF 25 as well. Yes Melanorm cream can be used on skin for sun tan. Use face wash rich in Kejoic or azelaic acid as it will lighten your skin tone. Apply tea tree oil or apple cider vinegar on skin on daily basis with a cotton swab. Use of mashed potatoes on skin will give very instant effect as they will absorb all the dark pigmentation of skin. Microabrasion and chemical peeling are other effective methods after proper examination by dermatologist.
