I am type 2 and have been told to take metformin in the morning missing out my insulin.I injected before lunch and Ishould inject now before supper. Can I take a pill now instead of an injection? Should I miss out my long term injection before going to bed or continue with the injection?
Hello, Metformin can not be the subtitute to the injectable insulin. There is something wrong on your part to understand the instructions fom your doctor. In fact metformin and injectable insulin be both taken for a better control of your blood sugar levels. For clarity, consult your treating doctor. Thanks
